Anushree is an Indian television presenter and actress who appears in Kannada films.[1] She started her career as a television host in Kannada television and went on to become an actress, she was one of the highest paid anchor in south India. mostly appearing in Kannada language films. She won Karnataka State Film Awards. For Best Dubbing Artist for the film Murali Meets Meera.
Early life
Anushree was born into Tulu-speaking family of Sampath and Shashikala in Surathkal, Mangalore, Karnataka, India.[2] She has a younger brother, Abhijeeth. Her parents separated when she was young with her father leaving "never to return or even stay in touch."[3] She completed her schooling in St. Thomas Bangalore till Class V, before shifting to Narayana Guru School in Mangalore. She returned to Bangalore once she completed her pre-university education, when she began getting offers to host television shows.[4]

Anushree began her career as a TV host in Namma TV in Mangalore. The actress who hit the big time after acting the famous reality show Big Boss season 1 and then went on to host a number of shows in the small screen. Her amazing stage presence and confidence made her popular and very soon she was hosting a number of shows on all popular channels. Anushree has also hosted a number of corporate shows.
Anushree has passed her secondary education from Ganapathi High School Padubidri Karnataka and after that she got an opportunity to host shows and become a VJ in Mangalore.
She has hosted reality shows like Comedy Khiladigalu, twenty twenty comedy cup, Namaste Kasturi, Namaste Bhavishyavani etc. She celebrates her birthday on Jan 25th.
