Background

Professor Howard Ward worked at CEMI and CEIBS from 1984 to 2010 as a founding member of the Executive Education Department and specialized in the design and delivery of Company Specific Programs. Prior to working with CEIBS, Professor Ward was employed full-time by Manchester Business School. He has also been a visiting faculty member at business schools in France, Spain, Italy and Russia.

Academic

Professor Ward teaches managing change, organizational behavior, leadership, cross-cultural team building and human resources. He designs and teaches Company Specific Programs that are a blend of consultancy and executive education. They focus on development at two levels: firstly at the level of the individual participants; secondly at the level of the organization by suggesting ways of improving organizational effectiveness.

Corporate

Professor Ward has rich management experience. He worked for 9 years with Michelin Tyre Co., in France, England and Ireland. He initially worked in the commercial department before moving into Human Resources for the last 5 years.
