Mr. Nok To was born on June 21, 1903 in Svay Por commune , Sangke district, Battambang province . His father was Nork, and his mother, Hek Chea, a Khmer national, and a farmer in Ou Ta Ky village, Chrey commune, Battambang province . He had a brother, Naughlin.

Childhood and education

Canaan, from childhood, in 1913, he went to Wat Po Vong Sangke Battambang . He studied the national scripts by the teacher, and studied the discipline of Master Sak Touch at Wat Pvivong .

In 1918, he had a class of vegetarians. As a monk, he studied Bali’s discipline and language with the different teachers in Battambang. He also studied abroad, in 1919 he studied in Bangkok, Thailand. He obtained a BA degree in 1921 and obtained a diploma in Honors Studies in 1923. Childhood and education

Them was born in a farmer family in Svay Por Commune, Sangkae District, Battambang, Cambodia. In 1913, he studied in Por Veal Pagoda in Sangkae District, Battambang. He studied Khmer literature with Teacher Sorn and learnt Dharma with Teacher Eav Touch in Por Veal Pagoda.^{[citation needed]}

In 1918, he was ordained. He studied Dharma with other monks in Battambang. He went to study in Bangkok, Thailand in 1919. He got a lot of certificates related to Buddhism. In 1936, he decided to left monk hood.^{[citation needed]}

Career

When he went to Thailand, he worked there. He worked as a Pali teacher in Bangkok from 1927 to 1930 before returning to Phnom Penh to be a member of the Tripitaka Committ
