Books inspire us, bringing aw and ah-ha moments, laughter, and tears. Reading affords us many rich and varied experiences, opening our hearts to new ideas daily. Reading together, we find instances to relate literature to our daily lives over and over again. (*see blog post “You Are What You Read”).
“Books help us understand who we are and how we are to behave. They show us what community and friendship mean.”

Reading quality literature expands our minds and hearts in ways that educate and evolve our humanity. Sharing our reading lists is sharing a little bit of our souls. I have divided the kids’ reading lists into age/grade years (September-May) for easy searching.
*My annual reading lists AND Christmas Library titles are at the bottom, so scroll down!
Since Oliver and Sophia are both in college, I no longer keep track of their reading. However, it is so deeply beautiful that our children know every book they read while we homeschooled together because of these lists. Our collection is personal and carefully curated for each reader.

People who identify as Hispanic or Latino may be of any race. As one of the only two specifically designated categories of ethnicity in the United States, Hispanics and Latinos form a pan-ethnicity incorporating a diversity of inter-related cultural and linguistic heritages, the use of the Spanish and Portugue
